CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Cortland County Legislature is looking to reverse a resolution on opioid settlement funding.
Legislators previously voted to give $100,000 to the Alcohol and Drug Council of Tompkins County. The money would’ve helped pay for a counselor and operating expenses, but the agency recently closed.
The legislature is now looking to put that $100,000 back in the opioid settlement reserve fund.
Officials meet tonight at 6 PM to discuss.
