CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland County legislators are beginning to discuss next year’s budget. 

Legislative Chairman Kevin Fitch says the county will have some big monetary gaps to fill. 

One includes Cortland County’s landfill. 

Fitch says a couple public hearings on the budget will likely be scheduled before a planned vote in October.
