CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Cortland County Board of Health has a new member.

Legislators appointed Dr. Matthew Noble from Family Care Medical Center. He’ll replace Dr. Cindy Johnson, who’s resigning. Noble’s term begins in August and ends at the end of the year.

In other health news, one man was recently hospitalized after a medical emergency in Cortland.
