ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A new group at Cornell is aiming to make peaceful connections with other cultures.

Students recently formed the Jewish Muslim Alliance. The group organized a dinner in December, and another one is planned for tonight at 7PM.

Over 80 Jewish and Muslim students went to the first supper.

Junior Osama Awadalla tells the Cornell Chronicle, talking with others helps humanize opposing viewpoints.
