ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — Cornell will make voluntary payments to the Town of Ithaca.
The school will contribute $425,000 each year for the next decade. Town Board member Rich DePaolo is satisfied with the deal.
“We were aiming slightly higher,” he says. “We ended up with something that I feel is a good start.”
In October, Cornell agreed to voluntarily pay the City of Ithaca $4 million each year.
