ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cornell is mourning the loss of a student.

The Daily Sun reports sophomore Brandon Sawyer died earlier this month. He was away from Cornell, interning with a food company in Mississippi.

Sawyer’s cause of death is unknown. He was reportedly passionate about ending world hunger.
