ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Local health experts are trying to solve a problem involving vaping.
A group of Cornell professors are studying e-cigarette advertisements. Dr. Jeff Niederdeppe says the goal is to find warning labels that help adults quit smoking – while also telling teens that vapes are still harmful. He calls it a “nuanced challenge” for regulators.
The Cornell Chronicle reports more than 12 percent of high school students say they’ve used e-cigs in the past 30 days.
