ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Big Red men’s lacrosse season is underway.

Cornell is after another appearance in the national championship. Former Big Red broadcaster Eric Reid says the late Richie Moran helped establish a culture.

“It was special to put on a Cornell lacrosse jersey, it’s special to be a part of that program,” Reid says. “It always has been since Richie got there, and I think it always will be.”

Reid previously provided play-by-play commentary for Cornell lacrosse, basketball, and football games. He’s now a broadcaster for the Miami Heat.
