ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Common Council is poised to vote tomorrow on an environmental policy called Justice50.

Sustainability Director Rebecca Evans says the new policy operationalizes climate justice in the Green New Deal.

Evans calls Justice50 a critical component of Ithaca’s Green New Deal.

According to Evans, another part of the policy is balancing infrastructure investing so all neighborhoods have a fair shake. The Common Council meets tomorrow night at six o’clock.
