ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Coalition for Mutual Liberation at Cornell is making demands.
CML leaders are asking President Martha Pollack to publicly endorse creating a Palestinian Studies program and a Palestinian and Arab Living Center for the Fall 2025 semester. Another demand is fully divesting from 10 weapons manufacturers with ties to the Israeli military and to make their case in person May 24 to Cornell’s Board of Trustees.
The group also wants full amnesty for everyone involved in the ‘liberated zone’ on campus, which was disbanded Monday evening.
President Pollack has paused any further disciplinary action against student protestors.
