ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Three races from Tuesday’s primaries will likely require a manual recount.

The Ithaca Voice reports fewer than 10 votes separate contenders in Wards Three and Five for Common Council, and the race for Danby Town Clerk also remains tight.

The Tompkins County Board of Elections is still collecting absentee and affidavit ballots until next week. A mandated manual recount would be scheduled for July 10.
