CINCINNATUS, N.Y. (WHCU) — Officials in Cincinnatus are fixing a clerical error.

The town says the increase listed on the 2024 tax bill was calculated incorrectly. The Cortland Standard reports the error shows a 14.4 percent jump, instead of a 1.8 percent jump for property owners.

Town officials are hoping for a speedy resolution.
