ELMIRA, NY (WHCU) – A Chemung County who was badly burned in an explosion earlier this year is facing charges.
Bryon Schwartz, of Veteran, was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation into an explosion at his home in March, which authorities say was from a meth lab. Schwartz was hospitalized as a result. More than a quarter pound of the drug and other chemicals were found at the scene.
The 42-year-old Schwartz is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, both felonies.
