CAYUGA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cayuga Heights is hosting a public hearing tonight about a proposed lawn law.
Officials are considering changing the village code to set standards for appearance and maintenance of property. The proposed law would ban couches and abandoned appliances from being placed in front yards.
Property owners would also be responsible for keeping lawns shorter than 10 inches in length.
The public hearing begins at 7:30 PM at the Cayuga Heights Office Building.
