CAYUGA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Tompkins County village aims to construct a safer spot to walk.

Officials in Cayuga Heights are in the process of selecting an engineering firm for the project. The sidewalk would be about a mile long on Cayuga Heights Road. Talks will continue next week at the Village Board meeting.
