LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) – One company in the Town of Lansing is helping in the fight against food insecurity.
Cargill has donated $20,000 to the Lansing Food Pantry. The local salt mine has pledged $10,000, with a $10,000 match from the company’s corporate wing.
Officials with the pantry estimate it could be worth as much as a year in operating costs. Cargill has donated to the Lansing Food Pantry each of the last five years.
