CORTLAND, N,Y, (WHCU) — The transformation of Main Street in Cortland into two-way traffic is still several months from completion. 

Bob Haight at the Cortland Area Chamber of Commerce says business owners have expressed mixed emotions. 

Haight adds there are reasons for excitement. 

City officials say businesses on Main Street remain open during construction.
