DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) — School officials in Dryden are taking an early look at numbers for next year’s budget.
Josh Bacigalupi is superintendent of the Dryden Central School District. He tells us they’re going through numbers from Albany.
Bacigalupi says that helps them keep pace with inflation and retirement system funding. Governor Hochul wants to increase school aid in the 2024 state budget.
