Erickson agreed to meet with the student in a remote location with the intention of engaging in sexual relations but was met by detectives when he arrived. Erickson is charged with felony luring a child, and misdemeanor attempted rape. He is being held in Broome County Jail without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
