DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) — A pre-spring break threat at the Dryden Central School District caused the swift closure of schools.

Superintendent Josh Bacigalupi says they were prepared.

Bacigalupi tells WHCU he learned about a non-specific threat after the school day had ended for most students.

On March 28, Bacigalupi says the district received an unspecified threat. Schools the following day were closed.
