HECTOR, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in Schuyler County are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident.

Deputies were called to the intersection of State Route 414 and Mathews Road in the Town of Hector on Thursday. Investigators say 38-year-old Angela Spang was traveling north on State Route 414 when she failed to yield and collided with another vehicle. Spang was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not seriously injured.
