CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – A man has been arrested after a home invasion in Cortland.
Cortland Police responded to South Main Street around 9:54 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, for a report of an armed intruder. Shoun Pinder, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, allegedly entered the residence and is unknown to the occupants. Pinder is accused of arming himself with a knife from inside the residence and grabbing a woman and holding her at knifepoint.
Authorities arrived and arrested Pinder outside the residence before he could leave. Pinder will face felonies of burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanor menacing, and harassment in court at a later date. There were no injuries reported.
