AUBURN, NY (WHCU) – You could be eligible for a homeownership assistance program in Cayuga County.
Open enrollment for Cayuga County’s Habitat for Humanity Homebuyer Program begins on Monday. It’s an opportunity for low-income first-time buyers to secure a home at a reduced cost by contributing 250 hours of labor.
The organization says applicants are chosen based on need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner.
More information on eligibility and the application process can be found here.
The application must be received by Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity no later than 5 p.m. on July 19.
