ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Leaders in Tompkins County will discuss cost sharing for a pilot program.

The county’s 2-year rapid medical response program officially launched on Tuesday. The first year of the program is 90% funded by the state, but officials still need to iron out the second year.

County Administrator Lisa Holmes says they’ll meet again soon to have further discussions.

Holmes says the county will meet with elected municipal officials on April 11.
