HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WHCU) – One man is recovering after a rescue effort in Horseheads.

Chemung County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene Sunday near Walmart Plaza on Interstate 86. A tractor-trailer went off the road and became partially submerged in water, trapping the driver inside. Rescue crews were able to pull the man out with non-life-threatening injuries.
