ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Budget season has arrived. 

Tompkins County Sheriff Derek Osborne tells us he’s submitted a budget draft for 2025 with only a couple requests. 

Osborne also wants to replace their patrol boat on Cayuga Lake, which is over 20 years old. 

In April, the Cortland County Legislature approved the purchase of a new Sheriff’s boat.
