ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Bridge repairs are coming to the Southern Tier.
Senator Lea Webb tells WHCU over $8 million will rehabilitate bridges and culverts in Tompkins County through the BridgeNY program.
There’s also money for Ithaca.
In addition, over $1.3 million goes to Dryden to replace the Union Street culvert. Meanwhile in Cortland County, nearly $8 million covers four projects:
- $2,387,000 to Cortland County for replacement of Pine Hill Road bridge over Hunts Creek
- $1,500,000 to Cortland County for replacement of Cold Brook Road (Route 102) culvert carrying Cold Brook Creek
- $2,491,000 to the Town of Cortlandville for the replacement of Hoxie Gorge Road bridge over Hoxie Creek
- $1,499,000 to the Town of Preble for the replacement of Currie Road culvert carrying West Branch Tioughnioga River
