ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Cornell researchers will benefit from federal funding.

The National Institutes of Health is granting $4.2 million to Weill Cornell Medicine. The money will help researchers study how the immune system can fight HIV.

Associate Professor of Immunology in Medicine Dr. Brad Jones calls the funding “exciting and rewarding.” He tells the Cornell Chronicle students and technicians have been working “really hard” on the project.
