OWEGO, NY (CortacaToday) — Tioga County officially has an administrator.

Jackson Bailey began his new job Monday after legislators agreed on creating the position last year. Bailey, who had been a part-time budget officer for the county, will oversee day to day operations for Tioga County.

Martha Sauerbrey remains chairwoman of the Tioga County Legislature, but many of her administrative duties will transition to Bailey.
