ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — TCAT is back to normal weekday service this morning after yesterday, which was a Sunday schedule.

The transit company has announced changes for the rest of this week. Routes 53, 82, 83, 90, and 92 are not running. Route 10, the Commons to Cornell loop, will only run between 7:50 and 3:50 with a reduced frequency to every 20 minutes.

Other reductions include Route 17 (Fall Creek and the Commons) eliminating several trips and Route 81 at the Cornell campus reducing frequency to every 33 minutes.

Routes with reduced service are as follows:

  • 10 (Commons/Cornell Loop): Will run only between 7:50 a.m. and 3:50 p.m., with a reduction in frequency to every 20 minutes.
  • 11 (Ithaca College/Commons):  No 3:45 p.m. outbound trip from Green St. Station; no 4:05 p.m. inbound from Ithaca College.
  • 13 (Fall Creek/ Aldi/ Ithaca High School): Eliminates the 7:11 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. inbound trips departing from TCAT.
  • 17 (TCAT/Fall Creek/Commons): Eliminates multiple trips based on adjustments to other routes.
  • 21 (Trumansburg/Jacksonville/Commons): Eliminates the 7:42 a.m. outbound trip starting from Green St. Station, and the 8:15 a.m. inbound trip starting from Compass Manufactured Home Community.
  • 30 (Ithaca Mall/Cornell/Commons): Multiple trips cut and numerous timing changes. Route will reduce frequency to every 30 minutes and will leave Green St. Station at the top (:00) of the hour and from the Shops at Ithaca Mall at the bottom (:30) of the hour. Route will operate as normal starting with the 8:01 p.m. outbound from Seneca St. Station and the 8:43 p.m. inbound starting from the Shops at Ithaca Mall.
  • 43 (Dryden/Commons/Groton/Freeville):  First inbound (the 7:12 a.m. departing from TC3) ends at Seneca St. Station, instead of Green St. Station.
  • 51 (Eastern Heights/ Cornell/Commons):  Route will serve Maple Ave., both inbound and outbound all day.
  • 81 (Cornell Campus): Eliminates several trips. Frequency reduced to every 33 minutes all day with last trip departing Boyce Thompson Institute at 6:16 p.m.
