ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — Ithaca Police are charging a 66-year-old man for allegedly threatening one man and damaging someone else’s vehicle.
Police say Richard Johnston swung a baseball bat near a homeowner during a dispute around 9:30 Thursday morning on North Aurora Street. Later in the day, IPD says Johnston struck a vehicle with a wooden walking stick on East Seneca Street, which caused some damage.
Johnston was arrested later in the Fall Creek area. He’s charged with two felonies – criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief – along with two misdemeanors.
