OWEGO, NY (WHCU) – The unofficial results of the Owego Fire Department elections are in.
Five new officers were elected including Chief Eric Hawkins, who is making the leap from Deputy Chief to Chief, First Assistant Chief Charlie Olmstead, Second Assistant Chief Ken Easton, Deputy Chief Mike Hopkins, and Treasurer Bill O’Connell. Secretary Kelly Hawkins was reelected. The Village Board is expected to approve the election results today.
Owego FD thanked outgoing officers Chief Jim Morris, First Assistant Chief Andy Churchman, Second Assistant Chief Tyler Boland, and Treasurer Janice Johnson for their “dedicated countless hours and support to the department and community.”
