WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Burdett man awaits sentencing for crimes in Hector.

Zane Seubert pled guilty to burglary and arson in Schuyler County Court on May 9. The 46-year-old admitted to breaking into multiple campers at a storage facility in Hector and causing extensive fire damage to a building at the Hector Union Cemetery while trying to light a cigarette.

Seubert will be sentenced on July 11. He remains in custody in Schuyler County Jail.
