PRINCETON, NJ (607NewsNow) — The Cornell football team couldn’t seal the deal on Saturday.

The Big Red held a 13-point lead in the second half against Princeton – then the Tigers came roaring back. Princeton scored back-to-back touchdowns and ultimately won 21-20.

Despite the loss, the Big Red’s defense was sharp against the run: Cornell allowed just 14 total rushing yards.

Cornell will next host Penn at Schoellkopf Field. The game starts this coming Saturday at 1 p.m.
