MORAVIA, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities have tracked down a Cayuga County man after a lengthy investigation.
On September 30, members of the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Steven Tomlin for failure to report a change of address as a sex offender, which is a felony.
On January 12, Cayuga County Sheriff’s deputies visited Tomlin’s registered address in Moravia to verify he was still living there, only to find the 49-year-old had moved out months prior. Tomlin is a level 3 sex offender, which is consider the highest risk in the state to commit another sex related crime.
Tomlin was transported to Cayuga County Jail without bail.
