CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Budget work is progressing toward a finish line in Cortland County.

On September 24, members of the Cortland County Legislature voted to set a public hearing date for the tentative 2027 spending plan.

The meeting will give residents the opportunity to weigh in before the budget’s final adoption.

The public hearing is scheduled for October 22 at 6 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the Cortland County Office Building.
