NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WHCU) — Streets in Newfield will see spring cleaning.

People will pick up roadside trash on Saturday. The event is called Greenup Day.

Organizer Mitch Raymond tells WHCU it’s important to keep streets clean because trash can pollute the Finger Lakes.

You can sign up on Saturday from 9 AM to noon at Newfield Town Hall. Trash bags will be provided.
