ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) — On Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th, the Future Firefighters Fun Fest will take place at Eldridge Park.

Attendees can meet firefighters, explore fire equipment, learn fire safety tips, view firefighter demos, and get an idea of what a career as a firefighter would be like.

Additionally, there will be a duck drop fundraiser, sponsored by Margeson Insurance. Taking place on Sunday at 3:00 p.m., ducks can be purchased for $5 each and will be dropped onto an ‘X’ on the ground beneath them, with the duck landing closest to the ‘X’ winning $1,000.
