ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — More buildings in Ithaca are making environmentally friendly moves.
Rebecca Evans is the city’s sustainability director, and she tells WHCU the grand total of buildings replacing fossil fuel infrastructure with heat pumps is closing in on 200.
It’s part of the Electrify Ithaca program, which is under the umbrella of Ithaca’s Green New Deal.
