CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — A child reported missing Monday morning was found about 30 minutes later.

Cortland Police responded around 10:50 to Smith School after a five-year-old boy walked off school grounds. Officers put up a perimeter and used a drone and K9 Officer Kort to search for the boy, who was found inside an RV camper on Wheeler Avenue.

The boy was brought back to the school and reunited with one of his parents.
