CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — A major retailer will make its Cortlandville store larger.

Walmart on Bennie Road will build a 7,174-square-foot addition along the west side of the building. The space is meant to support online pickup and delivery operations.

The approval process wrapped up on Aug. 19 when the Cortlandville Town Board granted an aquifer permit. In July, the Cortlandville Planning Board granted site plan approval.

It’s unclear when the addition will be constructed.
