MARATHON, N.Y. (WHCU) — A sweet celebration returns to Cortland County this weekend.

Families will flock to Marathon for the CNY Maple Festival. The free event starts with a pancake eating contest at 9 AM on Saturday. There’ll also be carnival rides and chain saw carvings.

The festival wraps up at 4 PM on Sunday.
