CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – A new thrift store is coming soon to the City of Cortland.

Goodwill is preparing to move into Riverside Plaza, with a grand opening date set for Friday, July 17.

Store hours have not yet been confirmed, but similar locations are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Crown City store marks the continued expansion effort of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes into the area.

In April 2025, the nonprofit group opened its first location in Tompkins County at the former Ollie’s in Ithaca.
