ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s Common Council is considering a streamlined approach to short-term rental rules.
Mayor Robert Cantelmo shared details Thursday on Ithaca’s Morning News.
Cantelmo says the new rules would not include long-term rentals.
Owners of long-term rental properties would need a special short-term rental permit from Ithaca’s planning department. The Ithaca Common Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule changes at their April 10 meeting.
