PHILADELPHIA (607NewsNow) — A slugger for the Mets is keeping an optimistic mindstate.
After back-to-back losses in Philadelphia, outfielder Juan Soto believes his team will improve.
“We got a talented group,” Soto told reporters. “We have some guys that’re gonna come back from injuries, so I think that’s what gives me hope.”
Infielder Francisco Lindor is nearing a return to the Mets. In recent days, Lindor played rehab games with Triple-A Syracuse and Double-A Binghamton.
Outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is also recovering from an injury. The 2023 All-Star selection hasn’t played since late April.
The Mets could benefit from returning players; New York currently has an overall record of 34-43.
