ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County is seeing fewer reports of shots fired.

The Department of Emergency Response received four calls about shootings in February. Compared to January, that’s about a 67 percent decrease.

Dispatchers also received fewer calls about weapons.
