ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Part of a street in Ithaca will be closed today for storm drain work.

Crews are repairing catch basins in the 100 block of North Corn Street. The street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday. Some traffic delays around Corn Street and West State Street are expected. Officials say some parking near the project zone will be reserved for city vehicles.

A few blocks away on Ithaca’s south side, a tree removal is set in the 600 block of South Plain Street. That section of the road will be closed to all traffic between South Titus Avenue and Wood Street from 7:30 until around 3 p.m. Officials recommend South Albany Street as a detour.
