CAROLINE, N.Y. (WHCU) — Some syrup makers in Caroline are OK after a fire.

Authorities say it happened on Pheasant Walk around 10 AM on Tuesday. Flames in the syrup-making building were contained to the wall.

Authorities say ashes and ember from the chimney caused the fire.
