DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) — The cause of Thursday’s house fire in Dryden remains unknown.

Multiple fire crews were called to a house on Dryden Road for a pre-dawn blaze. Everyone inside made it out safely, but the flames spread rapidly. A section of Route 13 was closed to all traffic for several hours as crews battled the intense flames and smoke. Part of the home’s roof collapsed.

No firefighters were injured, and the fire was brought under control by noon.
