CORTLAND, N.Y (WHCU) — The Cortland Fire Department is hoping to receive a grant.

The Cortland Standard reports the department is seeking $1 million for a new ladder truck. It would replace another truck that’s been around for about three decades.

Authorities are also hoping to buy portable radios and a new hose.
